Taking Backup of Catlog

Taking backup of catlog-

 Backup from dashboard (Achieve Method)- (For backing up specific                        dashboard)

1.      Goto dashboard folder on Catlog.

2.      Click on options and select Achieve. (Select both prompted options)

3.      Save Catlog file.

 Backup from physical location- (For taking backup of physical catlog folder from    server)

1.      Open winscp

2.      Go to following folder,

/u01/Middleware/instances/instance1/bifoundation/OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent/coreapplication_obips1/catalog/TestDevelopment

3.      Copy TestDevelopment

4.     Folder and paste it on local desktop.
