OBIEE 11g : Enable and Disable cache from Enterprise Manager

Enable and Disable cache from EM

1. Login to enterprise manager
2. Click on ‘Business Intelligence’ in right hand side panel.
3. Click on ‘coreapplication’
4. Select Capacity Management tab
5. Select Performance
6. Click ‘Lock and Edit Configuration’
7. Check/Uncheck ‘Cache Enabled’

Below are limits for Cache Capacity:

Maximum range of Global Cache storage size (in Megabytes) to use when BI Server cache is enabled – 9,999

Maximum number of cache entries; used to tune cache performance – 99,999

Maximum size (in Megabytes) for individual server cache entries – 9,999

     8.  Click Apply

     9.  Activate Changes

   10.  Restart services
